Harwood Prairie Playhouse Opens THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY Tonight

Harwood Prairie Playhouse presents THE FOX ON THE FAIRWAY, by Ken Ludwig, the playwright who brought us the hit comedies Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo. The Fox on the Fairway is a tribute to the great English farces of the 1930's and 1940's. It takes audiences on a hilarious romp which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top shenanigans, it's a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brother's classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with...golf.

Fox on the Fairway will be directed by Shanara Lassig who has directed Perfect Wedding and Birthday Suite at Harwood Prairie Playhouse. She has also directed three shows for The Bare Stage Theatre and two shows for the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre.

Show dates for 2013 are tonight, March 8, 9, 15, 16, 21-23 at 7:30 pm and March 10, 17, 23 at 2:00 pm.

*Special opening night reception after the show on March 8 - stay after the show for refreshments and meet the cast, crew, and director.

*Senior citizen night is March 21 - arrive at 6:45 for treats before the show. Although anyone may attend this show, Seniors 55+ receive $2 off the regular ticket price of $12.

*On Friday, March 22 we will announce our show for 2014. Get your ticket to this performance and be the first to hear about our 2014 show and win some fabulous prizes, including tickets to the 2014 show. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments and appetizers as we celebrate the announcement.
